Joe Bannister, FCCA - Director
Joe has over 28 years experience in Accountancy and qualified in 1996 with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He has subsequently become a Fellow of the ACCA.
Joe has worked predominantly in and around the North West of England and has established his practice on the Fylde Coast. However, clients of Nathans are found from Lancashire, Yorkshire, the South West and the Isle of Man.
Having gained experience in a variety of practices across Lancashire, Joe is ideally placed to advise businesses large and small. He has dealt with sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, group and solicitors audits. He has also obtained experience in industry working for a large private hospital group.
Joe prides himself on listening to the needs of his clients and he provides a proactive approach. This enables him to give the service that his clients deserve. Every client can be confident that his affairs will be dealt with in a professional manner.
After 28 years of dealing with local businesses Joe has many contacts and enjoys networking. This enables him to establish relationships with a large range of businesses and he can help his clients wherever a need arises.
Outside of the workplace Joe enjoys golf, squash, travel, surrealist art, concerts and learning to play the drums.
Nick Joined Nathans in September 2020. He brings over 5 years experience in accounting as well as 15 years experience in the financial services industry.
Nick currently works with a range of owner managed and SME clients. He focuses on efficiency of data capture and the cloud based approach to accounting.
Outside of work Nick is a family man with 3 daughters and is a keen home chef and baker.
He also trains in the Korean martial art of Taekwondo and holds both National Referee and Registered Instructor certificates.
He is also partial to a game of chess and is a keen follower of football.
Ilona joined Nathans in January 2021. Her role is that of Payroll, Bookkeeping and accounts clerk and has settled quickly into that position.
She adds value to clients businesses by providing up to date and accurate information for the purposes of business decisions.
Ilona is studying for her ACCA qualification.
Outside of the workplace Ilona’s interests include fashion, sewing, tennis and travelling as well as being a devoted mother.
